WHAT SIDE EFFECTS CAN I EXPECT?
LED light therapy has minimal side effects and is generally well tolerated. Some individuals may experience temporary redness or mild swelling, but these effects typically resolve after a few hours.
What is LED light therapy?
LED light therapy works by emitting specific wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at different depths. This light energy stimulates cellular activity, promoting collagen production, reducing inflammation, and accelerating the skin's healing processes.
What skin concerns does LED light therapy treat?
Acne, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, redness, rosacea, and uneven skin tone. It can also help reduce inflammation and promote wound healing.
How many sessions of LED light therapy will I need?
The number of sessions varies on the skin concern you want to address. Typically, a series of 6-10 sessions is recommended for optimal results.
IS THERE ANYTHING IMPORTANT I SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR?
LED light therapy is considered safe for most skin types and conditions. It does not contain UV rays and does not cause burns or long-term skin damage. However, it is essential to follow the recommended treatment protocols and consult a professional before starting. If you want to get in touch with us, contact us here.
How soon will I see my results?
Results can vary. Some individuals may notice improvement in skin texture after one session, while others need several sessions to see significant changes. Consistent treatments lead to the best results.
WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT I NEED?
At Your Aesthetic, we offer a skin consultation where we will address your skin concerns. We then tailor your treatment to your skin needs.
Can I use LED light therapy at home?
Yes, there are at-home LED light therapy devices available. However, professional treatments often provide more powerful targeted results. If using an at-home device, follow the instructions carefully and consult with our nurses to ensure it is suitable for your skin concerns.
CAN I RECEIVE TREATMENT IF PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
Yes, LED light therapy is generally considered safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is a non-invasive, gentle treatment that does not use UV rays or harmful chemicals.
